I DO NOT Heart Romeo & Juliet
I just watched a Bollywood rendition of Romeo and Juliet. BARF!! The actual name of the movie is not even worth remembering, plus I don't understand it 'cause it's in Hindi (although I still think Amir Kahn is a fabulous actor). Anyway, I completely felt like pulling the DVD out of the player and SHREDDING it! If it didn't belong to NetFlix I probably would. All I can say is, may I NEVER be Juliet, and may Romeo NEVER find me. Otherwise we'll both just end up dead before we're 30 with nothing to show for our pathetic lives. Ugh! Alright. Enough violent words. Good night.

It's amazing how exoctic Ohio...isnt.
Except for tomorrow. I'm spending the day with Dad, and we're journeying south to an exoctic animal farm (I didn't even know those existed here), where, apparently, we will ride around in a wagon and have exotic animals feasting from buckets that WE will be carrying. Animals from
Africa is the rumor...white elk, feral pigs, who knows what else. I'm looking forward to it.
And then, later, we're going to see either "Julie & Julia" (which takes place in France for much of the movie, so that's exoctic) or "The Proposal" (which takes place mostly in Sitka, Alaska, again, exotic).
I went swing dancing tonight, which was definitely NOT exotic. I acquired a nasty blister, and someone stepped on my bare foot with their big high heel. Ouch. Such is life.
And now, I'm off to do laundry, so I not only have clothes to wear tomorrow, but also WARM clothes (in case it unexoctically RAINS or VERY unexotically...don't say it...snows). Grin, we'll see.
Well, that's the whole cigar for now.
In the meantime, rest well and dream of Narnia.

What's in my head today...
I'm still SO excited that I cooked dinner last night! I'm just so proud that I COOKED! Dad taught me how to grill burgers, and I melted three different kinds of cheese onto them, and sauteed onions (which Mom taught me how to do). Ha! It's just a great "I did it!" feeling. Maybe because I feel guilty in some stupid way, for never cooking and not practicing cooking EVER. I mean, how am I ever supposed to cook for my future theoretical family someday if I don't learn and practice now. I guess that's the logic behind the stupid guilt! :) Anyhow, now I'm learning to cook. Woohoo!!! Every Monday night is now MY night for cooking dinner at my house. I'm WAY too excited about it. Grin.
